What a great privilege we had to honor Allen West, Lt. Col. (ret. U.S. Army) at our complementary reception for Chicago area veterans.

Lt. Col. West, recently a U.S. Congressman from Florida, who served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was a Battalion Commander in the Army’s 4th Infantry Division, has served with distinction.

At our reception, Lt. Col. West gave a blistering critique of Obama Administration’s military strategy in the Middle East.

We thank all Chicago veterans who joined us for this great event.

On December 7th, 2016, Patriotic Veterans co-hosted a reception to honor Wounded Heroes, Inc. and the wonderful work they do to honor our veterans. Paul Caprio, President of Patriotic Veterans, spoke at the luncheon.

Liesl Sanchez, a Wounded Heroes, Inc. Board member and an Air Force Veteran, accepted contributions from some of our members to provide financial support for their outstanding program.
